Biography

David is the VP of Research at VitalSmarts and the co-author of three New York Times bestsellers, Influencer: The New Science of Leading Change; Change Anything: The New Science of Personal Success; and Crucial Accountability: Tools for Resolving Violated Expectations, Broken Commitments, and Bad Behavior. David did his doctoral work in psychology at Stanford University, and has taught at both Stanford and at Brigham Young Universities. He co-founded his first consulting and training firm in 1980, and has worked as a consultant, developer, and researcher since then. David’s work has been recognized in many ways, including Motorola University’s Distinguished Teaching Award and Stanford University’s Dean’s Award for Innovative Industrial Education.
