I have had an amazing professional journey at Bloomberg. I started right out of college on our Analytics desk, helping customers solve any conceivable issue they might have trading a stock, pricing a bond, valuing a derivative, and more. I was then presented an opportunity to sit on site with one of our largest customers (and one of the largest banks in the world), learning how the bond markets really work. I had a front row seat as I learned our customer workflow, and the critical role the Bloomberg terminal and products play in helping to bring transparency to ever changing, and increasingly complicated financial markets. It was a somewhat obvious career step for me to head back to our Bloomberg offices and spend time working with our brilliant technologists to design functionality that would further support our mission to help answer any question a Bloomberg customer might have, even if they don’t know they should be asking it.
