Biography

Peter M. Senge is a senior lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and founding chairperson of SoL (the Society for Organizational Learning). He is author of The Fifth Discipline: The Art and Practice of The Learning Organization (1990, revised 2006) with more than two million copies sold worldwide, which was identified by the Harvard Business Review in 1997 as one of the seminal management books of the past 75 years and by The Financial Times as one of the five most important management books. He has written, with co-authors, a number of organizational learning Fieldbooks as well as Presence: Human Purpose and the Field of the Future (2004) and most recently, The Necessary Revolution: Working Together To Create a Sustainable World. Dr. Senge was named by The Journal of Business Strategy as one of the 24 people who had the greatest influence on business strategy over the last 100 years (1999), and by The Financial Times, Business Week, and The Wall Street Journal as among the world
