Biography

Gonzalo is the Vice President, Talent & Diversity for Otis Elevator in charge of all aspects of the global Talent function including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, D&I, Talent Management and Leadership Development. Gonzalo also created an effective Change Management CoE for the Corporation. Before this role, Gonzalo had a global career with United Technologies in positions of increasing responsibility. He started with UTC at Carrier Corporation, in Argentina, where he is originally from. Subsequently moved to Mexico as the Sr. Manager, Human Resources for Carrier’s operations in the country and then moved to the United States as the Head of HR for Carrier’s North American Commercial organization. After several years with Carrier, Gonzalo moved to Sikorsky Helicopters as Director, HR, Commercial and Military Systems and subsequently joined Otis Elevator as VP, HR, Asia Pacific, where he lived and worked in Singapore. Prior to joining his current role, Gonzalo lived and worked in Brussels, Belgium while performing the role of VP, HR for Otis’ EMEA organization. Gonzalo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa, and an MBA from Universidad Austral – IAE School of Business. He is now based in the West Palm Beach, FL area where he lives with his wife and four children. He is an avid traveler and enjoys soccer, golf and history.
