Biography

With over 30 years experience, Debbie Friedman heads Macy's corporate leadership development function, including its award-winning Leadership Institute. Designed to help the organization achieve its strategy and key business priorities, Debbie's department supports the company succession plan and provides formal leadership development programs and executive coaching for high potential and senior executives. In addition, the department provides on-line resources and virtual solutions to develop employees at every level.

Debbie has held various learning and development positions for Macy's, formerly Federated Department Stores, and for AT&T Communications. In addition, she has served as Assistant Director-Career Planning & Placement for Xavier University (Cincinnati) and has 10 years classroom teaching experience.
