Biography

Kristin brings over 25 years of technical and management experience at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), DOE National Laboratories, the Department of Defense, National Science Foundation and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. She is the founding president and CEO of KB Science, LLC, a firm merging basic and applied research, development and deployment to accelerate science and technology for U.S. competitiveness, prosperity and security. Dr. Bennett specializes in federal business development consulting and building industry – academia – national laboratory partnerships to secure large federal grants and ‘centers’ (or institutes) in the areas of energy, defense, nanotechnology, advanced materials, and manufacturing innovation.
