Biography

At the World Bank, Mr. Pommier has had practical experience in management and development projects spanning over 32 years in three regions (Europe and Middle-East, Africa, South Asia). He is a retired staff member and has a unique experience and knowledge across key areas of expertise in Finance, Bank operations, Carbon Finance, Infrastructure projects (Urban, Water Supply and Sewerage, Solid Waste Mgt., Transport) and Management that are essential to the successful accomplishment of development objectives. Prior to joining the World Bank, Mr. Pommier worked as the Administrative and Financial Manager of Paris Southern Branch of the Lyonnaise des Eaux, a public utility specialized in Water and Sewerage services.
